Shop@Zim is a digital platform that showcases Zimbabwean products and exporters to global buyers.

The platform's primary purpose is to:

• Provide information about Zimbabwean companies and their export-ready products.
• Facilitate initial contact and communication between buyers and suppliers.
• Support trade facilitation through guidance and advisory services by ZimTrade.

Shop@Zim does not facilitate financial transactions, payments, or deliveries between buyers and suppliers. All trade agreements, negotiations, and payments occur outside the platform and are the responsibility of the parties involved.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using Shop@Zim, you acknowledge that:

• You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
• You are of legal age and have the authority to enter into binding agreements.
• You will use the platform solely for lawful business purposes.

3. User Responsibilities

Buyers

• Use information from the platform responsibly and solely for legitimate sourcing purposes.
• Conduct due diligence before entering into any agreement with suppliers.
• Understand that Shop@Zim and ZimTrade are not liable for any transaction, contract, or payment made outside the platform.

Suppliers

• Ensure all product and company information provided is accurate, up to date, and complies with Zimbabwean export regulations.
• Maintain transparency in dealings with potential buyers.
• Refrain from posting false, misleading, or infringing content.

4. Platform Use

• Users may browse, send Requests for Quotation (RFQs), and engage in communication facilitated through the platform.
• Users agree not to misuse the site, including by uploading harmful content, spamming, or engaging in fraudulent activities.
• Shop@Zim reserves the right to modify, suspend, or remove any user or listing that violates these terms.

5. Disclaimer of Liability

Shop@Zim provides information for reference and connection purposes only. ZimTrade and Shop@Zim:

• Do not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or legality of products or services displayed.
• Are not parties to any transaction or agreement between buyers and suppliers.
• Are not responsible for any loss, damage, or dispute arising from interactions or transactions conducted outside the platform.

All users are encouraged to conduct independent verification and seek professional advice before concluding trade arrangements.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on Shop@Zim — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of ZimTrade or its content providers and is protected by copyright laws.

Users may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from the platform without prior written consent from ZimTrade.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Shop@Zim respects your privacy. Personal data collected (such as names, emails, and company details) is used strictly for facilitating communication and improving user experience.
